STEM Ignite

In early 2020, a workgroup made up of key stakeholders in affordable housing met to provide feedback on the design and implementation of culturally specific STEM programming at housing sites.

With a renewed focus and statewide investment on housing from the Governor’s office, this program sought to link educational opportunities to housing development, and recommend strategies for a coordinated policy agenda that aligns housing authorities with career-connected and work-based learning opportunities for low-income and underserved youth.
