Program Activity Leader

Website Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington

If you love learning and engaging youth, and you have a passion for working with children, apply today for a seasonal job as a Program Activity Leader (PAL)!

As a PAL, you have the potential to change girls’ lives and grow as a leader in your community. PALs have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of girls, grades K-8, by facilitating girl-centered activities that promote positive self-growth. As guides of the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience, PALs support girl-led curriculum in areas such as STEM, the arts, healthy living, and leadership development.

Working in teams, PALs coordinate activities for groups of girls, facilitate community troop meetings, and serve as positive role models in migrant education, summer school, and extended care programs throughout Oregon. PALs may work on-site/in-person, or in a virtual environment, depending on the needs of the partner program. PALs support girls in primarily Latinx programs, so strong Spanish-language skills are highly preferred.
