Inclusion in Afterschool & Summer

Inclusive practices in afterschool and summer programs can be an intimidating idea, that may reference everything from physical, to medical, to culturally-specific accommodations. However, building truly inclusive programs ensures every child has an equal opportunity to show their strengths, build friendships, and discover new interests. And ultimately, program leaders create a positive, accepting environment where all children feel valued.
